SVVR Educational Society is promoted by the reputed SAGAR group of
industries. The flagship company of the group – Sagar Cements – is one
of the most valued cement companies in South India. The group has
interests in diverse areas such as power, infrastructure, software and
agriculture.

Sagar group as part of its CSR programme is
actively involved in developing IT education facilities and providing
health and education services in rural areas. The group is an active
participant in Indian agriculture sector. Through SVVR Education
Society, the group is diversifying its CSR activities. The Society is
establishing three colleges: Sagar Institute of Technology (SITECH),
Sagar Food&Agri Business School (FABS) and Sagar Global Business
School (SGBS).
