“Faculty should play vital role in shaping the future of Engineering students” – Exhorted by Dr.P.N.Reddy, Director, Sreenidhi Institute of Technology.

Dr.P.N. Reddy, while inaugurating the Faculty Development programme organised by Sagar Institute of Technology(SITECH), Chevella for their faculty emphasized the role of faculty to shape the future of the engineering students. He reiterated that faculty should always be empathetic and helpful to the students and create passion in him to learn and practice. Becoming a good engineer require knowledge, skills and right attitude.

Grooming the professional engineers through Faculty Development is the motto of SITECH. After completing the recruitment of faculty for the next academic year, expected to commence on 1st July, have organized the FDP at Chevella Campus of Sagar Group of Educational Institutions. About 50 faculty in civil, mechanical, EEE,ECE and CSE have taken part in the FDP programme. The programme basically covered various aspects of right teaching, preparation, creating interest for the students, take up remedial classes for the weak students etc.

The day long training programme was handled by Dr.P.N.Reddy,Director , SNIT, Dr.P.G.Sastry, Dean of Academics, SNIT and Dr.Vasudaven , Principal of SNIT.

The erudite personalities of SNIST greatly applauded and commended the infrastructure availability, motivational levels of faculty and the ensuing growth which is to registered by Sagar Group of Educational Instittutions, within a short span of time in AP.

The programme was chaired by Dr.V.Satyanarayana, Principal, SITECH, attended by Mr.Jayarami Reddy, CAO. The faculty fo Sagar Institute of Technology found the FDP workshop immensely useful and they are confident that they can groom the students for their better future and employment ready.
