MBA with B School quality at SITECH

Two years, Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme started as part of Integrated Institution. One of the Schools is offering MBA which is AICTE approved and JNTU affiliated. The intake is 60.

Intake of the students is done in two types of quotas viz. convener quota and management quota. 42 seats are allocated under convener quota on the basis of a competitive examination, ICET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Remaining 18 seats are allocated under management quota. For convener quota applicant should qualify in the ICET and also secure 50 per cent marks at the graduation level. For management quota applicant should have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks in graduation. The students all over the country can get into under this category.

CURRICULUM :
This two year MBA programme consists of four semesters. Semester wise courses are listed bellow.

Semester-I : Management and Organization Behavior , Managerial Economics , Research Methodology and Statistical Analysis , Financial Accounting and Analysis , Business Law and Regulation, Business Communication & Soft Skills, Business Environment and Computer Application for Business.

Semester- II : Human Resource Management , Financial Management, Business Environment, Quantitative Analysis for Business Decisions , Production and Operations Management , Marketing Management , Management Information Systems.

Semester-III : Entrepreneurship and Good Governance, Cost and Management Accounting, Management of Technology, Strategic Management and three effective papers each one from Fiancé, HR and Marketing.

Semester-IV : -Final semester consists of project work and three elective papers.

FACULTY :
Eminent and highly experienced faculty is available for MBA programme. Dr.K.Pratahap Reddy, former Director of IRMA and Fellow, IIMA and the Director of SVVR Educational Society will be the course director..B school faculty is handling the courses. The faculty of Sagar Global Business School will be handling the programme.

INFRASTRUCTURE :
As SVVR Educational Society is an initiative of Sagar Group of Industries and provided a highly sophisticated infrastructure in the campus. Exclusive Computer lab with internet connectivity, separate hostels for boys and girls within the campus, cafeteria, wi-fi connectivity, transport from all the corners of the Hyderabad city, business communication lab, tutorial rooms, eco-friendly Library Building, sophisticated gymnasium, semi-circular shaped class rooms, play grounds etc are some of the highlights of the infrastructure available.

SUMMER INTERSHIP PROGRAMMES (SIP) :
Sagar Institute of Technology has taken an innovative initiative of sending MBA students for one month Summer Internship Programme (SIP) to do Live Projects, on par with B School students. Transgraph Consulting Pvt. Ltd., Centre for World Solidarity (CWS- An NGO), Axis Bank-Mutual Funds, Hyderabad, Future General Life Insurance, Hyderabad, Jagruthi Logistics, Hyderabad, etc are some of the companies who have taken our students for SIP. Some of the students have also been paid stipend.

CORPRATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILTY (CSR) :
We not only teach the CSR in our class rooms but also practice. As a part of CSR, we organized one month free ICET coaching in VIkarabad and also provided study material at free of cost.. Total 85 students attended for this free ICET coaching. Most of them are from rural and semi-rural areas. We also conducted free mock ICET Exams. We are happy to inform that 96 per cent of these students are qualified in the ICET-2011.

In addition we also take up number of NSS programmes in and around the campus with the involvement of the students.
