- Our Commitment
- The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is committed to offer the undergraduate program B.Tech that augments the curriculum stipulated by the affiliating university JNTU, and to impart a basic understanding of Electronics and Communication Engineering built on a foundation of physical science, mathematics, computing, and allied technology. The graduates are expected to have the basic experimental, design, and communication skills to be prepared for continued study at the graduate level or for entry level positions that require a basic knowledge of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- Overview of the curriculum
- Technical Knowledge: The program offers all basic courses including Control Systems Theory, Electronic Circuits, Electromagnetic Fields and Microwaves, Communication Systems, Signal and Image Processing, Radar and TV Engineering, Mobile Communication and Computing, Satellite Communication, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Digital Systems Design, VLSI and Embedded Systems
- Laboratory and Design Skills: Special attention is given to students so that they develop the basic skills needed to perform and design experimental projects and also develop the ability to formulate problems and projects and to plan a process for solution taking advantage of diverse technical knowledge and skills.
- Preparation for the Profession: Extra and Co-curricular activities are planned for the students which would prepare them to face the broad spectrum of issues arising in professional practice, including teamwork, leadership, safety, ethics, service, economics, and core competence.

- Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of SITECH has drawn a road map as to how to specialize in certain advanced technology areas like Mobile Engineering, Radio Communication Engineering, Software-Defined Radio Technology, Cognitive Radio Design and Architecture, Microwave and Radar Systems, Wireless Technology, Wi-Fi, 3G, Wi-Max and Wi-Fi Technology, WAP, GPRS, 2.5G, VoIP, Embedded Security Systems, RFID Radar and Applications, Satellite Communication Systems, Molecular Electronic Devices Design and Architecture, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Signal and Image Processing, and Control Systems with the help of government organizations like Electronics Corporation of India Limited, Bharat Electronics Limited, DRDO, and private industries like Red Pine Signals, Hellosoft, Avantel, National Instruments, Motorola, Nokia, TIFR to name a few.
